Post-doctoral Scholars
The Post-doctoral Scholars Program is a free-standing two-year training program that brings researchers together online to design and conduct transpersonal research projects. The program’s mission is to train transpersonal researchers to teach and supervise research at universities and graduate programs around the world—not only in Psychology and Educational Psychology but in aligned fields, such as Business Management, Future Studies, Health Sciences, Social Work, and inter-disciplinary studies that embrace the human sciences and humanities. To date, scholars from Canada, South Africa, and the United States have joined the program to generate individual research projects, provide feedback to each other, and to conduct research under Rosemarie Anderson’s supervision and guidance. Weekly activities facilitate the learning of all major qualitative approaches to research and quantitative and mixed-method approaches as pertinent to individual research projects. All scholars have completed a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree. Quarterly fees are paid directly to Rosemarie Anderson. Please inquire about current fees.
“Rosemarie Anderson is an astute and erudite mentor who encourages my development as an independent scholar and researcher. Under her excellent guidance, I am studying the use of visual art, especially surrealist art, in the healing process of ongoing psychotherapy. Rosemarie teaches innovative research approaches and loves to learn and study—which is clearly how she teaches and guides my post-doctoral studies, too. I wholeheartedly recommend Rosemarie as a mentor and teacher.”
“I had no hesitation asking Rosemarie to guide my post-doctoral research as I had previous experience with her as a teacher and as the chair of my dissertation committee during my doctoral studies. I value her unique ability to combine challenge and support in ways that probe and integrate the internal and external worlds of the researcher. Her expertise in Transpersonal Research methodologies has allowed me to explore diverse research areas, including forgiveness in a South African context for my doctoral studies and the parenting practices of individuals of high net worth in my post-doctoral studies.”

“When I was on the Core Faculty in the Global PhD Program at Sofia University, Rosemarie Anderson and William Braud were the heart and soul of that program. We were blessed with two world class researchers and methodologists. Remarkable for any university let alone a small transformative school exploring the deepest pools of human consciousness. That is why the program worked in those good days – because we had Rosemarie and William, the two pillars and two pioneers lighting the way and setting the pace. I am forever grateful for having experienced it.”
“Rosemarie Anderson was a mentor and muse to me. Rosemarie supported my journey as an artist and researcher by aligning accurately with what lived deeply hidden in my unconscious. As one returning to school at a late age and knowing how rarely teachers come through to us, the greatest gift was the deep honor of working with Rosemarie. I will always look back proudly and say, ‘I knew her! I actually took a class from her!'”
“Having Rosemarie Anderson on your side is like having an expert dance partner—she guides you through the steps, holds you steady, and helps you move gracefully. As one of her students, I can think of no one I would have rather worked with. With her guidance, my research became more creative, juicy, and meaningful than I ever could have imagined. Consider yourself lucky if you have the good fortune to work with her.”
Curriculum Design
For schools and university departments interested in promoting transpersonal and spiritual values, Rosemarie Anderson provides consulting services in curriculum and program design. As a former university dean for the University of Maryland, European Division, Rosemarie was trained on the job on the go, scheduling courses and designing programs to meet immediate educational needs. She often designed new programs on paper napkins in German restaurants in the evening after meeting with faculty in the field during the day. Her on-the-job training allowed her to design the curriculum for Sofia University’s Global Online PhD Program, which was an immediate financial success out the door in 2002.
